UP Data Commons
A high-performance research computing and data storage facility serving as a shared digital infrastructure to support data-intensive research across the UP system, including Ph.D. programs in Data Science and AI.
Key Resources: High-capacity storage, superfast computing power for "crunching" large datasets, and scalable virtual machines.
Access: Primarily intended for UP faculty, researchers, and students. Users must apply using their official UP email accounts.
CAIR FabLab
Shared Service Facility of DTI Region XI
The Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR) FabLab is the first AI and Robotics FabLab nationwide under the DTI SSF program, serving as a hub for prototyping and product development.
Key Equipment: 3D printers, CNC cutting and fabrication tools, materials processing, and robotics/electronics development kits.
Access: Startups, MSMEs, UP Mindanao students, and researchers can leverage these facilities to transform ideas into functional solutions.

Access and Use
- Located at the Carim Building / Atrium on the UP Mindanao campus in Davao City.
- The facility is managed by the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science (DMPCS).
- Business support and facility booking are handled by the Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (TTBDO).

How to Access
- Online reservation system: Book specific equipment and time slots via the TTBDO portal.
- Initial training: Required introductory courses on safety protocols and basic machine operation are provided before independent use.
